THE SUN IS SHINING HERE BUT STILL NOT AS WARM AS AT OUR NEW HOME IN FLA. WE HAVE BEEN DOWN THERE WORKING TO GET READY TO MOVE IN SOMETIME IN OCT. WE TOOK THE WHOLE MONTH OF JULY TO CLEAN AND CHANGE A FEW THINGS TO OUR LIKING AS WELL AS SHOP FOR KITCHEN APPLIANCES AND NEW LIVINGROOM FURNITURE. FORGOT HOW MUCH WORK IT IS TO MOVE. I NEVER MOVED SO FAR FROM HOME BASE BEFORE AND THERE IS SO MUCH TO DECIDE ON BE IT ONE HOUSE OR THE OTHER.
ANYWAY IT HAS BEEN FUN. IT'S LIKE STARTING ALL OVER AFTER OVER 40 YEARS IN ONE SPOT. BROTHER AND SISTER -IN -LAW HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL AS THEY LIVE ONLY 2-3 MILES FROM OUR NEW PLACE AND THEY ARE KEEPING THEIR EYE ON THINGS THERE WHILE WE RETURN BACK TO THE NORTH AND MAKE MORE PLANS. THEY ARE SO EXCITED TO HAVE FAMILY MOVING SO CLOSE BY THEM.MET SOME OF THE KIDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WHO FILLED US IN ON ALL THE IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE AREA LIKE THE WILD LIFE. DEER,ARMIDILLOS, ALLIGATORS, SNAKES ,ETC. AS WELL AS HUGE BUGS THEY SING ALL NIGHT IN THE WATERS CLOSE BY SO LOUD YOU CAN HARDLY TALK TO SOMEONE WHILE SITTING ON THE BACK PORCH. I'M SURE THIS IS GOING TO BE AN EXCITING WINTER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN QUITE A FEW YEARS BUT AT LEAST I WON'T BE SHOVELING SNOW FOR SURE.
GOING TO TRY TO PUT A PICTURE OF ONE OF THE BUGS THAT DECIDE TO PEEK IN OUR WINDOW ONE DAY. THINK IT IS CALLED A STICK BUG. IT WAS AT LEAST 7 IN. LONG. ALSO HAD AND ARMIDILLO IN OUR FRONT YARD ONE MORNING. SO EXCITING! TO US ANYWAY.
You're getting the hang of it. Gotta help you out with those pictures though~
