Here you can see the cousins with hubby and Grandma in the front.  Christa, Gary and Eric in the backround.  What a great  time we had together but the time was all to  short.  Hope they can come back real soon.
Took Grandma with us to  a local resturant for dinner with the cousins from Germany.  It was the first time she had been out to dinner in years.  Being up in years  (93)  she is afraid to venture out  for she has a hard time walking but she felt this was a very special occasion to participate in and she loved it.  Maybe  she will  try again real soon with us.

we  went to a cute resturant before hitting the streets for the victorian xmas fest, brother and sister-in-law found this place a few years ago and loved the food.  Buffet style, more choices than you can imagine.
These ladies dress in victorian clothes for the evening  for  fun along with many others in the streets.
Had a good time at the  Victorian Christmas in Thomasville, Ga. with a man playing Christmas music..It was  about 40 degrees out side but he kept playing,  frozen fingers and all..

WORLD TRAVELER

WELL, WE FINALLY FOUND OUT THAT  GRANDSON  TOM  IS GOING TO JAPAN FOR 2 YEARS FOR HIS FIRST DEPLOYMENT.  HE IS SO EXCITED.  HE HAD REQUESTED TO GO THERE AS ONE OF HIS CHOICES FOR OVERSEAS.   THIS SHOULD BE A SAFER PLACE FOR HIM THAN MANY OTHER PLACES IN THE WORLD TODAY.  ONE NEVER KNOWS THESE DAYS.  THINGS HAPPEN WHERE YOU LEAST EXPECT  BUT I AM HAPPY FOR HIM.  A NEW CULTURE TO EXPLORE IS RIGHT UP HIS ALLEY.  ALONG WITH LOVING THE FOOD THERE  HE LOVES THE  CULTURE.   HOPE HE SENDS LOTS OF PICTURES AND MANY INTERESTING LETTERS TO HIS GRANDMA.   HINT    HINT!!
